Why GROWDIESEL^TM

GROWDIESEL^TM is derived from plants. Mineral fuels are derived from the fossil remains of decomposed organic matter extracted from below the surface of the earth. All of us know that the resources of mineral oils are nearly depleted, and the cost of extracting the last reserves will become increasingly high. There is an urgent need to switch over to other forms of fuel before mineral fuel supplies exhaust.
It is well known that burning of fossil fuels increases the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. This is the main cause of the 'Green House' effect in which the overall temperature of the globe increases. However, burning of GROWDIESELTM does not contribute any additional CO2 to the atmosphere, since the carbon released is the same as the carbon absorbed by the plants as, they grow.
GROWDIESEL^TM is a premium Bio-based diesel alternative. It can be used to replace diesel from 2% to 100%. GROWDIESEL^TM is a superior alternative to Diesel since it is FREE from sulphur, has high lubricity, can clean the engine of carbon deposits, increases engine life and reduces pollution.
The best part is that the raw material for GROWDIESEL^TM, the oil-seed plantation of J.Curcas can be raised on wastelands and water starved areas of India. Over 130 million hectare of wasteland is available in India. Over 10 million jobs shall be generated in rural India from this plantation project alone.

How to use GROWDIESEL^TM ?

All compression ignition engines will burn GROWDIESELTM without any modification just the same as ordinary diesel. Even a blend of this wonder fuel with petro diesel shall enhance the engine life, reduce pollution & significantly increase overall vehicle performance. For higher blends engine performance will be improved with a slight change to engine timing, 2 or 3 degrees for a 100% blend. The use of advanced injection timing and increased injection pressure has been known to reduce NOx emissions & enhance engine performance.

Advantages of GROWDIESEL^TM

• GROWDIESEL^TM can be used alone or mixed in any ratio with petroleum diesel fuel. GROWDIESEL^TM easily mixes with diesel.
• GROWDIESEL^TM is the only Bio-based premium diesel replacement fuel that runs in any conventional, unmodified diesel engine. It can be stored anywhere like petroleum diesel.
• The lifecycle production and use of GROWDIESEL^TM produces approximately 80% less carbon-dioxide emissions, and almost 100% less sulfur-dioxide. Combustion of GROWDIESEL^TM alone provides over a 90% reduction in total unburned hydrocarbons, and a 75-90% reduction in aromatic hydrocarbons.
• GROWDIESEL^TM further provides significant reductions in particulates and carbon-monoxide than petroleum diesel fuel.
• GROWDIESEL^TM contains approx 10 % oxygen by weight and absolutely FREE from sulfur. More oxygen means more breathing for the engine. Thus it increases the mileage while reducing the overall engine maintenance costs.
• The use of GROWDIESEL^TM can extend the life of diesel engines because it is more lubricating than petroleum diesel fuel, while auto ignition, power output, and engine torque are relatively unaffected.
• GROWDIESEL^TM is safe to handle and transport because it is as biodegradable as sugar. 10 times less toxic than table salt, and has a high flashpoint of about 130°C compared to petroleum diesel fuel, which has a low flash point of 74°C.
• GROWDIESEL^TM is being made from domestically produced, renewable oilseed crops such as J.Curcas & Karanja thus it shall serve as an eternal source of fuel.
• When burned in a diesel engine, GROWDIESEL^TM replaces the exhaust odour of petroleum diesel with a pleasant smell.
• GROWDIESEL^TM is having higher Cetane number hence the ignition becomes better.
• GROWDIESEL^TM is having very high solvent like cleaning properties as a result it cleans the entire fuel system. Regular use of GROWDIESEL^TM makes the entire fuel system free from harmful deposits that accumulate as a result of long-term usage of diesel. This powerful cleaning effect is demonstrated within few hours of driving/running a diesel engine on GROWDIESEL^TM. All these deposits can be seen on fuel filter. It is recommended that fuel filter with all accumulated dirt/deposits should be changed after 500 KMS of running on GROWDIESEL^TM. Thereafter it should be examined & cleaned twice or thrice after every 500 KMS.

Observing the fuel filter, exhaust emissions, exhaust odor, vehicle pick-up etc can provide an user with sufficient evidence that GROWDIESEL^TM is truly a designer fuel specially crafted for existing diesel engines.

ENERGY PLANTATION

GROWDIESEL Consortium has identified fast growing, high yielding and high oil content variants of Jatropha Curcas. GROWDIESEL Consortium submitted 30 accessions of Jatropha Curcas to Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India and received IC numbers for all the 30 accessions. Two of them- GROWDIESEL MIRACLE- IC-471056 & GROWDIESEL ENERGY- IC-471057 are being extensively used by us.

GROWDIESEL Consortium has already established nurseries across the country to produce saplings from GROWDIESEL MIRACLE- IC-471056 & GROWDIESEL ENERGY- IC-471057. The present production capacity is over 10 million saplings annually.
