Ans.:- Plantation can be done round the year. Before the monsoon is the season for plantation.

Ans.:- Fruiting takes place in Feb-March and/or August-Sept.

Ques.:-5 Describe the process of harvesting?
Ans.:- The seeds with shells are plucked from the plants manually.The shells are removed by pressing between thumb & fingures.The seeds are dried in sun for 2-3 days.

Ques.:-6 How much water is required?
Ans.:- Water requiremetns are minimal.However 5l-10l per plant fortnightly for fruit 3-4 months ad monthly once watering is best practice.

Ques.:-7 Why will farmer adopt this crop?
Ans.:- We are promoting the farmers as these supplementry income and to grow it along with their existing crop on the hedges . The plants provides live fencing anto-pests/termites properties and reduction in use of chemical fertilizer.

Ques.:-8 Does this plant harms the other crops growing in fields?
Ans.:- No, it doesn't harm other crops because it's roots are only 2 feet fiberous and required minimal water.Also its leaves on shedding quickly mixes with the soil.It supplements the other existing crop by its anti termites properties.

Ques.:-9 Where has it been grown in India?
Ans.:- In India this plant by Name Ratanjyot is already grown traditionally in chattisgarh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, H.P., Uttaranchal, Andhra Pradesh on the hedges and for medicinal oil purpose.

Ans.:- It can be grown on any type of soil and tropical climate favours it's growth?

Ans.: Yes, it can be grown in barren land. Dig pit size 2ft.x2ft.4:1 FYM be applied and basal dressing is also suggested.

Ans.:- No,being oil bearing plant.Its smells keeps the animals like stray cattle away.

Ans.:- No, in fact its oil is used to cure skin diseases.

Ans.:- Normally after 3 months of plantation the insects/pests/termites rodents generally go away from it.

Ans:- Plant has a life of 50 years. 1acre taking 1200 plants one can expect over 1 lac ltr. in 50 years.

Ans.:- We take seeds annually once a year.

Ques.:-20 What is the life of the plant?
Ans:- The life of the plant is 30-50 years.

Ques.:-21 You are paying only Rs.5 per kg, it is low?
Ans:- In fact it is a good price because now also farmers growing wheat/Paddy sells it around the same rate after spending everytime on seeds, plantation, spray, fertilizers, irrigation, management etc. Compared to it the margin of expected profit is high.

Ques.:-22 Are there any govt. support/subsidy for farmers?
Ans.:- Yes, the central govt.gives back-hand subsidy linked to loan.

Ques.:-23 Where will the farmers get the saplings? Where will be sell the seeds?
Ans.:- The farmers can purchade saplings from GFARM. He can also sell his crop at GFARM or other nereby desiganated place.

Ques.:-24 Whether the cost of sapling at Rs.10 is high?
Ans.:- The cost of sapling also includes our advisory services and guarantee of survival, hence it is not high.

Ques.:- 2 How about procurement of raw material ?
What policy / back up plan we have, if a corporate / any other agency go for extensive captive plantation & we are not suitably competing? We are working with low quality low cost raw materials like animal fat, acid oils and Algae oil. These raw materials in fact are the only viable options for Indian Biodiesel industry.

Ques.:- 3 Can you arrange for visit or can I see the manufacturing unit?
We are starting a two days training at manufacturing plant. Here the trainee shall prepare one batch of MIRACLE (100 Lits) & can take it with him. The cost of such training shall be Rs.25,000/-(includes the cost of Miracle). You can book to join such training. The trainee shall have to arrange his own lodging, boarding & conveyance.

Ques.:-4 If I have reactor or boiler or any other equipment which is helpful in machinery of mfg.unit, can I use ?
The compatibility of any equipment can be checked and such equipments can be incorporated in our project and project cost can be suitably reduced.

Ques.:- 5 How long will it take to start the project?
Once you sign a letter of intent and make the requisite investment available, we can establish the project with 4-5 months.

Ques.:-1Where can Biodiesel be used?
It can be used in all diesel engines including vehicles and DG sets which run on Diesel.

Ques.:2Can it be used in Petrol engines?
No

Ques.:-3 We don't know anything in Biodiesel will you give us training?
Yes, complete technical know how through regular periodic sessions would be given by Growdiesel consultants.

Ques.:- 4 What will be tax structure for selling Growdiesel?
Biodiesel is exempted from excise. VAT structure varies from state to state. In Uttaranchal and Rajasthan VAT is 0%.

Ques.:- 5 What kind of agreement I will be having with Growdiesel? Any copy?
The agreement comes in 3 stages - LOI, MOU & AGREEMENT. The copies shall be a part of project document that is supplied at the time of signing LOI.

Ques.:- 6 What if big name (Reliance, ITC, Tata etc.) enter into Biodiesel sector?
Through entry of big names, the market shall expand very fast - more people shall go in plantation, govt. policies shall be better. In the end, those companies that are part of a big network like GROWDIESEL and those who work with low overheads shall be successful (Like the milk industry).

Ques.:- 7 Can I sell Growdiesel with my trade name?
Yes by paying a royalty. In fact you can use Growdiesel brand with your own brand to give more credibility.

Ques.:- 8 I am not very much comfortable in plantation business, but very much interested in Bio-diesel ?
What or how maximum you can help ? People not interested in plantation business can appoint associated to do it. We can provide training to help you do so.
